Interlocutory adj.

Consisting of, or having the nature of, dialogue; conversational. "Interlocutory discourses in the Holy Scriptures."

(Law) Intermediate; not final or definitive; made or done during the progress of an action; as, an interlocutory judgement. Note: An order, sentence, decree, or judgment, given in an intermediate stage between the commencement and termination of a cause, is called interlocutory.
